Could chronic daily headaches and/or migraines be caused from iron deficiency?
Jamie – Yes!
Signs/Symptoms
During the early stages of anemia symptoms may be lacking; and when they do appear they may be vague and confusing. Among the typical symptoms are abdominal pain, coldness, dizziness, fainting, fatigue, headache, inability to think clearly, irritability, loss of appetite, pale blue whites of the eyes, pale skin, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath during exercise, and weakness. Specific signs of iron deficiency include a strong desire to eat ice, paint, or dirt, and fingernails or toenails that break easily.

I’m a fins-and-feathers vegetarian (meaning I only eat birds and fish, no red meat or pork). Is it true that the meats I eat have less iron and could lead to a iron deficiency?
Ok, according to some of you I’m not a vegetarian, even tho I don’t eat mammals. But that’s really not what I’m asking…….
You’re kidding, right? Ever watch the old Popeye cartoons?
I know it’s a pretty ludicrous sounding answer, but in all seriousness, dark leafy greens are a HUGE source of iron. There are a large number of other fruits and vegetables that also contain large supplies of iron.
On top of that, they don’t have the excess "luggage" that their meat counterparts carry with them…

For the past 3 months, I have been running close to 2-3 miles mostly every day. Only lately have I been feeling a bit weak and have been getting some bruises. I think i may have iron-deficiency. My question is, If i take Centrum, a multivitamin supplement, as well as iron-rich foods would my symptoms as well as iron deficiency go away on its own without resulting to medicine from the hospital itself?
Extra supplements would definitely help. Maybe instead of multivitamins buy an iron supplement

[FeDe] Razorcloud’s short combo video.
I recorded this in a day against bots so if your gonna whine, take it somewhere else. I’m just getting this up to have it up for now and I am currently producing a combo video with only matches against humans.
UPDATE : Guys i fricken know why the pit and toon link glitch happened. i put “the hell?” for a humorous effect. I have known since i posted the video. Please stop leaving comments telling me why it works, especially when about a million people have posted it already. I delete most of those sort of comments.

I have iron deficiency anemia and i was looking for some research on how long people with iron deficiency would live, im just really curious.
Iron deficiency anemia isnt usually a factor in mortality. anemia can be easily controlled with diet and iron supplements. i too have anemia…at times pretty low iron (I’ve had to have iron i.v. infusions)

I’ve been a vegetarian for a lot of years now, and I think I’m lacking iron.
I also have heavy, heavy periods, and I read somewhere that they are related?
Is this true or is it a myth that periods + iron deficiency = heaviness?
Rather, it’s that heavy periods can cause iron deficiency, or make it worse.
I was put on birth control pills myself because of an iron deficiency. My heavy period would cause me to lose too much iron.
